GEORGIA’S 2012 TOBACCO ACREAGE PROJECTED TO BE DOWN 15%

The March 30, 2012 USDA prospective planting report has Georgia tobacco acres down 15% to 10,000. Overall the U.S. tobacco acreage is projected to be down by 2% at 317,950 acres.
