ARROW HERBICIDE DAMAGE ON BLUEBERRIES

Recently I when out to a field of Southern Highbush blueberries (Star) exhibiting Clethodim (SelectMax, Arrow) injury. Dr. Mark Czarnota, University of Georgia Extension weed scientist, says he has seen this injury on both Southern Highbush and Rabbiteye blueberries with Arrow but not with SelectMax (as of yet). He believes this injury is due to the surfactants in the Arrow formulation of Clethodim. The best option is to prune out damaged branches below the injury. Below is a photo of the injury:
