KUDZU BUG ATTACKING SOYBEANS

KUDZU BUG MANAGEMENT IN SOYBEANS

The Kudzu bug, Megacopta cribraria, has now been confirmed in most Georgia counties and infestations in soybeans have been reported in many areas. Soybean growers need to be on the alert and scouting for this pest. Below are two On The Farm radio programs with Dr. Phillip Roberts, University of Georgia Extension entomologist, discussing kudzu bugs and their control in soybeans and his fact sheet on kudzu bug management. November soybeans are over $15 per bushel so being slack on scouting soybeans could cost a grower a bundle.
