REAP ENERGY EFFICIENCY GRANTS
You are probably aware of the REAP Energy Efficiency Grants that have been provided by USDA Rural Development over the last several years. Many Coffee County farmers have taken advantage of these to upgrade poultry houses, irrigation systems, dairies, and other operations on their farms. Because of the delay in finalizing the farm bill, the announcement of the details of this program has been delayed, but has just been released. The deadline to get applications in for this year is March 30 (3 months earlier than last year.) Please call or e-mail me if I can help you apply for these grants.
